Shapetropy
Create lines. Lines collide. Lines makes shapes. Shapes collide. Shapes make different shapes. Keep the shapes simple. Three dimensional objects break the simulation.
ABOUT
Shapetropy is a fast paced arcade score chaser where each round lasts only one minute. Each time a shape bounces off a wall you earn a point. Having many shapes earns you many points, but also makes it more likely a cube will be created in the chaos. And that means game over.
HOW TO PLAY
- Create and aim lines with left mouse button
- Shapes bounce off walls and eachother
- Shapes combine to make advanced shapes
- Rectangles combine into cubes, so watch out
- Slow down a shape to control the chaos by hovering the mouse cursor over it
- When the 60 seconds run out or a cube is created, the round is over

I like how clean this feels! To combat the dominant tactic of only creating Vs at the top and bottom you could make it so that 2 Vs can make a square, or that walls that have been bounced off certain number of times get dangerous and lower your points.
Anyways nice one!
This was cool! Is “the meta” here to only make 2-line polygons? (as they can’t combine with each other, therefore being “safe”)
